VACANCIES

(IFSS) Family Intervention Worker

Working within the IFSS team as a direct link for continued therapeutic support for families or parent/s where it is assessed that they are stable and would benefit from ongoing therapy.  The post-holder will assess the need for therapeutic intervention following the period of engagement with an intensive family model, design the type and level of therapy required and  engage the family, parent/s in this therapy.

Purpose of job:

Promote a culture of safe and effective parental functioning, where safeguarding concerns are identified as a result of domestic abuse, mental health and parental substance use.

Deliver high quality family support activities and practices, which result in positive outcomes for families and improved safeguarding of children.

Support the development of the provision, in order to advance the reputation of the service as a quality provider and advocate for vulnerable children and families.

Hours:  30 Hours per week

Salary: £23,154

We have a number of volunteers taking a variety of roles within ADS including Administrators, Mentors and Group Co-facilitators.
