Quality Standards and Practice
Welcome to the Quality Standards and Practice Teams section of our website. ADS is constantly looking to improve the services we offer.
The QSP Team have an organisation wide role and offer support in 3 core areas described below.
- Quality Assure that the overall service provision and client environment is of sufficient quality as to ensure that all clients are provided with equality of opportunity in both prompt access to services and receipt of engaging treatment interventions tailored to assessed/ regularly reviewed need resulting is effective treatment outcomes
- Standards Assure that the standard of service provision is to organisation approved models and directives and includes a welcoming environment. Assure that waiting times, retention and effective outcomes are to organisation standards. Assure that inductions, team meetings, practice learning and development opportunities and line management supervision are routinely provided to all staff. Assure that the organisations polices, procedures and protocols are disseminated and upheld.
- Practice Assure that staff have the knowledge, skills and competence to effectively undertake their role/ change in role, practice is safe and effective and delivered to the organisation approved models and that boundaries and ethics are upheld.

The QSP team have a rolling programme across each ADS service. They ensure the correct quality and standards are adhered to and any training needs are addressed.
