Volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers from all kinds of backgrounds and with all sorts of experience. In return for giving us your time, you’ll develop skills, meet new people, get help back into work or maybe even get a boost up the career ladder.

Volunteering at ADS is also a great insight into what it is like working in social care, giving you the chance to see if perhaps it would be a good career choice for you in the future.

How would I know what to do?

Don’t worry if you’re unsure right now of what you need to do. We’ll give you an induction to ADS when you join, and explain everything your role will involve and give you specific on the job training. Don’t forget, you can claim back any travel expenses you incur while carrying out your work for ADS .

How do I volunteer?

You can download the application form HERE and send it to the service you wish to volunteer at or you can contact the service and ask for the volunteer lead. They will happily discuss with you the opportunities available.
